Developed with the help of the well-known british reenactment gruou Regia Anglorum, this Spangenhelm is constructed from 1.6 mm steel with the two halves of the helm welded along the center line back to front and the banding riveted through the steel to provide extra strength. The nasal is cut from 3 mm steel for extra strength. An adjustable leather liner with attached chin strap is included.
