This is a very authentic replica of the "Avant" armour, displayed in Kellingrove Museum, Glasgow. It is dated approx. 1440 a.d. This helmet type was prevalent in northern Italy, but also worn throughout Europe.

It is made from 2 mm steel. The two helmet halves are welded together. The helmet is lined in leather around the face and has a riveted and glued adjustable leather inlay. It is available in several sizes.
